Athens-Clarke County Purchasing, responsible for coordinating the procurement activities of the Unified Government, is committed to purchasing quality goods and services at the best possible price. In doing so, Athens-Clarke County procures goods and services with an estimated value of $50,000 or greater via the formal competitive sealed bid process.

All bid opportunities are displayed on the Web site, via e-mail at accpurchasing@co.clarke.ga.us, or in the government's legal organ, currently the Athens Banner-Herald.

Bids are typically scheduled to open in the afternoons between 2:00-4:00 p.m.
